Doctor Mundall likes to view his role as that of a qualified health consultant who can assist you, the patient, in understanding the nature of your problem and give you a more objective view of your treatment options. He therefore encourages your questions and your desire to assume an active role in the selection of a course of therapy. For this reason also, Dr. Mundall usually prefers to schedule a return visit if blood or other tests are performed, so that you will be able to understand the significance of the results and their effect on your treatment regimen.

Many patients are surprised to learn about the scope of services we offer. Because of Dr. Mundall's manner of approaching illness, patients often find answers to problems which had seemed unrelated, thus minimizing the necessity of going to see multiple physicians for their various complaints.
Following are some of the highlights of our practice.

Toxicology: There are many advantages to our modern age of technology, but there is a price to be paid. Thousands of new chemicals are produced each year, which, for the most part, produce varying amounts of damage to the delicate chemistry of our bodies. In order to maintain good health, our bodies must either break down these toxins to less toxic substances, or excrete them, or use a combination of both methodologies. In addition, many of these toxic substances are more fat soluble than water soluble, and thus tend to settle out in our fat cells and our nervous systems. There they may remain for years or decades, still capable of and often producing significant disease as a consequence of their presence. The science of detection, removal and neutralization of these toxic materials is a very important modality in dealing with our modern illnesses, and will likely continue to be of even greater importance in the foreseeable future. Fortunately, there are products and methods that have proven beneficial in addressing these issues. Dr. Mundall is happy to assist his patients in both the testing necessary to identify toxins as well as utilizing detoxification treatments when indicated.

Immunology: Recent developments in healthcare continue to reinforce the importance of a properly functioning immune system, as it is involved in most types of infections, arthritis, allergies, and even cancer. By means of certain specialized tests, Dr. Mundall can assist you in identifying problem areas in the functioning of your immune system.

Nutrition: The old adage, "You are what you eat" might better be stated "You are a product of what your digestive tract absorbs from what you put into your mouth and what your system is unable to burn or excrete." By means of elemental tissue testing and other tests, Dr. Mundall can assist you in evaluating and treating some of the nutritional disorders which are becoming so commonplace today.
