Lord, You created marvellous creatures-- Obviously works of art and love; Very delicately made their features, Each one given life from above. Internal design outweighs external-- So complicated its chemistry; Though outward beauty covers internal, Reflecting Your love, still a mystery. Unknown to me are inner workings, Little feelings, thoughts, and such. Yet to You these are the markings... All which show Your loving touch. My heart which I don't understand, Against Your wisdom simplifies. Zealously all this You planned-- I am watched by loving eyes. Never, never will love cease! Grant me wisdom, love, and peace! |
